Bio/About Me

Dj Angelo D began his dj career at a very early age when he fell in love with the dance music and disco sounds in the late 70's. Listening to some of the best Djs and mixers in the Philadelphia dance scene , he knew thats what he wanted to do. In the mid 1980's he bought a turntable and started making mixtapes on a cassette player. Working with other local Djs he started doing mobil dj spots ,but still wanted to mix.  Going to clubs and listening to radio mixshow jocks he honed his skills on the turntables. 1994 came and he went out and started shopping his tapes to radio stations. he started out at local college radio stations and worked up to AM and finally FM stations at the Jersey shore . spending 3 years at WFNN , he became a reporter for various magazines including ,DJ TIMES and FMQB . Bringing hit records to the airwaves ,he broke several records in the market including ,Jocelyn Enriquez ,Lil Suzy, and Rockell, to name just a few. Retiring from radio shortly after having his first child.                                                                                                                  Jump ahead 10 years and 3 kids later he came back to the music that he loves and is doing it all over again . Doing special guest appearances at local clubs,performing  freestyle and house sets .
